BayScape’s First Annual Harvest Moon Festival was a grand success and a festive welcome to the holiday season!
Little angles, witches, pirates & mad scientists arrived to the fest and without pause headed to tables lined with pumpkins just their size ready to come to life…even chalkboard paint covered pumpkins, complete with a stick of chalk, provided an unusual canvas for the budding artist incognito. Rhinestones, glitter, felt & paint adorned the finished masterpieces as little ones waited patiently for the ever popular “Donut On A String Eating Contest”!
Mini-pumpkins & bags full of treasure & sweets enticed everyone to try their hand at the “Candy Corn Bean Bag Toss” and even gourd bowling….strrrrike!!! What fun! No costume? No problem! Our face painting station was a big hit for children of all ages and families could capture the moment in BayScape’s “Field Of Flowers” Photo OP! Thanks to

Local Musicians showcased their talent and was the perfect backdrop for event goers while they enjoyed a Pulled Pork Sandwich from
Eddie’s or a Chocolate Covered Caramel Apple from
The Grinell inn Bakery! Bags of apples and even local honey from
Narrow Lane Orchard sweetened the pot & balanced the festival Palette. Speaking of good things, mulled cider was a warm welcome into the store where pre-designed pumpkins, floral arrangements, mums, unusual gifts and jewelry were ready for the taking!
Families were so kind to bring non-perishable food items to be given to
The JonnyCake Center and with their donation received their own little pumpkin. We raised 138lbs of donated food items for The Jonny Cake Center! Thank you for your support!
The Pre-Holiday Special was a big hit where a small deposit earned you either 10% or 15% off a Christmas Tree and/or wreath! In fact, a similar special is still being offfered until Oct. 31 visit our

A big thanks to everyone who attended and shared their talents to help make our Harvest Moon Festival such a success!
